35th International Geological Conference

The conference represents the ‘’Olympics’’ of geology and is held every four years in a city selected for its attraction as a meeting destination and also in recognition of the host country’s outstanding geology and long term contributions to the earth sciences.

South Africa will be hosting the 35TH IGC in Cape Town in 2016.

The event will be a Pan African one with the support of the major African Geo-scientific Societies and other related organizations.

Large numbers of African delegates are expected to attend and field trips are planned to all parts of the African continent.

African Real Estate Summit 2016

The African Real Estate Summit is an international platform that brings together the full spectrum of the African real estate sector.

The Summit, in partnership with WESGRO and UCLGA, will assist African cities and governments in securing new international investment for economic development based around commercial real estate and infrastructure projects that will contribute to Urban Development Plans.

This transactional deal making hub is aimed at providing an opportunity for investors, developers, landowners and the cities themselves to conduct business, sign contracts and develop the future cities of Africa. Alongside the Urban Development Plan City Showcase sessions, the two-day high-level conference will provide insight, guidance and training to African cities to attract and negotiate international finance and investment.
