63rd IBA Meeting 2014

World Bartending Championships. Delegates from 64 countries from all over the world will be arriving in Cape Town to participate in the World Cocktail Competition. This is the biggest bartending event to be held in SA. The event is held in a different city every year and we are very excited that the South African Bartenders Association has been awarded the opportunity to host the event which will be attended by 450 International delegates. Event to take place 09:00 - 17:30.

Third Global Symposium on Health Systems Research

Third Global Symposium on Health Systems Research which will be held in Cape Town, South Africa, from 30 September to 3 October 2014 with pre-Symposium satellite sessions on 29 and 30 September.

The theme of the symposium is the science and practice of people-centred health systems, chosen to enable participants to address current and critical concerns of relevance across countries in all parts of the world. Researchers, policy-makers, funders, implementers and other stakeholders, from all regions and all socio-economic levels, will work together on the challenge of how to make health systems more responsive to the needs of individuals, families and communities.

Participation is encouraged from experts and newcomers to the broad field of health systems research.

Conference takes place from 18h00 - 18h00.

For the first time ever SiMODiSA presents Start-Up South Africa on October 10th 2014 in the Cape Town Intenational Convention Centre.

South Africa’s Premier boating & water sport showcase. The Cape Town International Boat Show, the granddaddy of boat shows on the African continent, has been drawing thousands of local and international visitors for the past 13 years. The show has grown every year since its birth and 2013 is no exception. Carrying forward these years of experience has led to a five year partnership agreement with MIASA – the National Marine Industry Association, which will grow both the exhibitor and visitor base attracting record numbers.
