Meet Pamela Degah, Assistant ESM

With a calm, confidence and a passion for teamwork, Pamela Degah, one of our longstanding team members, brings dedication and hardwork to every event at the CTICC. Starting her journey as a waiter through a staffing agency, her strong work ethic and team spirit quickly secured her a permanent role. Now, 14 years later, Pamela continues to shine, driven by inspiration from her managers and a deep love for what she does. Her resilience, reliability, and enthusiasm for running successful events make her a valued and respected member of the CTICC team.

Q: Please share a bit about your background. We’d love to hear about where you’re from and the journey that brought you to the CTICC.
I started as a waiter with an agency called In Staff, and through my hard work and strong teamwork, I was offered a permanent position at the CTICC.

Q: How long have you been an employee at CTICC.
14 YEARS

Q: What does a typical day in your role look like?
A typical day in my role can be stressful at times, but I’ve become so accustomed to my work that I’m able to find ways to manage that stress and pressure.

Q: What inspired you to take up a career in this field?
My manager at the CTICC inspired me to take up a career in this field.

Q: Can you share a memorable moment or achievement from your time at the CTICC?
A memorable moment or achievement from my time at the CTICC would have to be the month that I was the employee of the month.

Q: What do you find most rewarding within your role?
Maintaining a positive attitude, having confidence in my work, and respecting my supervisor’s guidance, especially when it benefits the company, are the most rewarding aspects of my role.

Q: Who inspires you and why?
One of my managers at work inspires me because she recognises my efforts and has a strong sense of leadership and understanding.

Q: Outside of work, what are some of your hobbies or interests?
Outside of work, I enjoy shopping and taking time to rest and recharge.

Q: What goals or aspirations do you have for your future within the company?
My goal is to continue growing within the company, developing my skills, taking on new challenges, and contributing even more to the success of the CTICC.

Q: What is your favourite part of your job or the CTICC?
My favourite part of the job is running events alongside team members who are just as committed and enthusiastic.

Q: Which company value is most important to you and why?
The company value that is the most important to me is passion—because I believe in feeling genuinely excited and motivated about the work I do every day.
