Q: Please share a bit about your background. We’d love to hear about where you’re from and the journey that brought you to the CTICC.
I’m originally from Thulamahashe (Mpumalanga), where I grew up in a Xitsonga-speaking family with my grandmother, my Mom (Paullinah Khosa) three brothers and one sister. My early education took me to two primary schools—Thulamahashe Primary School in Mpumalanga and Khomisani Primary School in Limpopo—before attending Langa High School and later Hivuyeriwile High School. I hold a National Diploma in Tourism Management from UNISA. And my career in the hospitality industry began as an intern at Emperors Palace, where I was later employed as an Events Coordinator. From there, I expanded my experience by working in various hotels, including Lombardy Boutique Hotel, Indaba Hotel, and Hotel Sky Sandton, all in the role of Events Coordinator. As an Events Coordinator, my passion has always been to manage large-scale events, hosting 1,000 or even 2,000+ attendees. CTICC stood out to me because of its commitment to excellence, mission, and values, which strongly align with my own aspirations. With my skills and experience in hospitality, I was excited to join the organisation and contribute to its growth while helping drive its goals and objectives.

The creativity and innovation I witnessed there truly inspired me. With my strong communication skills and natural ability to connect with people, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in hospitality, where I could make a positive impact on people’s lives.
Q: Can you share a memorable moment or achievement from your time at the CTICC?
Receiving a 10/10 rating from my PEPSICO client on the Nlighten Report reminded me of achieving 100% on the Mystery Guest evaluation during my time at Emperors Palace. Moments like these reaffirm my commitment to delivering exceptional service and exceeding client expectations.

The words of encouragement and support from my managers.

Zanoxolo’s mentorship and encouragement have motivated me to strive for excellence and pursue opportunities for growth.
