Due to COVID-19, National Treasury granted all municipalities an extension of two months to submit their financial statements to the Auditor General for auditing. As a result, the Auditor General also extended their due date for audit report submissions to ensure that due diligence and care is applied during the audit process.
The municipal financial year ended on 30 June 2020, and we will have our 2019/20 Integrated Annual Report available by no later than 4 March 2021.
