About African Mining Week

Building on the success of Africa Mining Week (AMW) 2025, the 2nd edition of AMW will continue to strengthen Africa’s position as a global leader in responsible, sustainable, and technology-driven mining.

Held under the theme “Mining The Future: Unearthing Africa’s Full Mineral Value” on 14–16 October 2026 in Cape Town, the AMW 2026 programme will address the most pressing and transformative issues in both the global and African mining landscape.
